Clogged Toilet That Keeps Backing Up

A single clogged toilet that responds to a plunger is normal. A clogged toilet that keeps happening, especially after normal use, often means there’s a partial blockage deeper in the drain line. We’ll clear the clog and check for underlying issues.

Water pooling around the base of your toilet usually means the toilet wax ring has failed. The wax ring seals the connection between the toilet and the drain flange. How much does toilet replacement cost?

My toilet won't flush. What should I check first?

Start with the basics: make sure the handle is connected to the flapper chain, check that the water supply valve is fully open, and look inside the tank to see if the water level is low. If none of that fixes it, the flush valve or fill valve may need replacement. Call us and we’ll take it from there.

Can you fix a toilet that rocks back and forth?

Yes. A toilet rocking loose is usually caused by loose mounting bolts, a broken closet flange, or a deteriorated subfloor. We tighten or replace the bolts, repair the flange if needed, and reseal the toilet with a new wax ring to stop leaks.

Should I repair or replace my toilet?
